An audio adaptation of a novel tracing events on a farm in Pen Llŷn in 1912 as a twelve year old girl records the excitement and disappointments of growing up and as long-hidden family secrets are gradually revealed with the return of her father to sea and with the arrival of an authoritative aunt in the family home. This is an abridged version, and Jennifer Vaughan is the narrator.
