A novel about a girl called Blodyn Haf, 10 years old, who is part of quite a different family that has a ‘green’ way of living. When she starts at a new school, some of the girls take a dislike to Blodyn Haf, and they start to bully her badly. And all of this is on top of the trouble at home… Suitable for: 9-12.
Ar hyd y Flwyddyn
A colourful book which is divided according to the months of the year, and which is full of poems and tales by various authors. Many of the tales are based in famous locations all around Wales. Suitable for: 5-9.
Cyfres Corryn - Ta-Ta Tryweryn!
A historical novel detailing the last months of Capel Celyn before the villagers were moved away so that the valley could be flooded to create a reservoir to supply water for Liverpool. The sad history and the trouble of the protests and the move is told from the point of view of a child. Suitable for: 7-9.
