We will ask our parents whether they are willing to get together to create a story sack or sacks for the playgroup

We will give a book to the children during the Give a Book campaign

We will invite a storyteller or librarian to hold a story session

We will invite an expert from the field of education, or a librarian, to hold a session with parents on ways of encouraging children to enjoy books

We will organise a fancy dress (book characters) party

We will read a book or story to the children

With the help of some of our parents, we will visit the local library or, if there is a mobile library in our area, invite it to call at the playgroup
